Britain sends warship to Falkland Islands

http://www.euronews.net/ Britain is sending a warship to the Falkland Islands as the 30th anniversary of its conflict with Argentina over their ownership approaches.
The deployment of HMS Dauntless comes as tensions rise between London and Buenos Aires. Argentina has not given up its claim on the islands it calls Las Malvinas.

It has not gone out in the main news bulletins but apart from getting other countries to block Falklands flagged ships from S American ports the Argentine's have been stopping and searching ships around the islands. That was why the RN ship was sent. According to the BBC the islands rely on imported fruit and vegetables and have had none for months.

I am brazilian and reading the history on the islands it is clear that the islands are british. they were the first to land in the island and give the name. The argentinians occupied the island for only 13 years whereas the british are there for over 170 years. The people there want to be british and this must be respected. Long before Argentina could even think to be an independent country, Britain already were sailing in these islands. There is no more arguments. The islands are british
