This is an incredible set. I took so much pride in having all of the prominant tapes back in the 80's, but this is my first listen to this performance. Before there were any hip-hop records, this is how we enjoyed this form of art back in the day.

The Truest Essence of Hip Hop is to Entertain, Inspire, Encourage, Uplift, and Empower.. It's always been a Culture that embraced every Element Of the Inner City Experience.. Graffiti, Break Dancing "Dancing" Rapping "Emceeing".,.And friendly competitiveness. Not many fans of the Music can truly understand that, these days. This is a Peek into the Old School. It does give a great glimpse. It's time for a Modern Day Hip Hop Documentary.. School The World..

WE are an AMAZING PEOPLE and this right here shows it! It has spread to all corners of the world! I AM HIP HOP for ETERNITY and I'm 42...

A lot of people don't know Kool Moe Dee is one of the most underrated great rappers of hip hop. He had a speed style of rhyming that he would go into sometimes that was off the hook. I used to listen to Hip Hop on 8-tracks. Things were a lot different then. Hip Hop was a treat and would NOT be played on the radio. They eventually started playing after midnight but I was too tired to stay up considering I was so young. Enjoy fam.

True School YaLL!! I definitely appreciate this joint, it takes me back to jams in the park Mr. Magic, The Awesome Two and on and on.. The Old School is The True School!! It's true that a lot of younger rappers will never know the real essence. Thanks for allowing those who do know to relive the old days..

I understand. Turns out he IS serious about what he said... he just approaches it in a more carefree, party-going and fun-loving manner. It's VERY interesting to know that you used to be a DJ back when hip hop and rap were still in their infancy! It is no trouble at all to have uploaded all of these. I will TRY as hard as I can to keep uploading all of the old-school stuff (I've got U.T.F.O., Doctor Ice, LL Cool J and Run-DMC stuff planned later). :)
