Strange Red Light inThe Sky

I dont know what it was but I recorded it and I hope someone can give me an explanation.
The small light under it it is planet Jupiter.
It looks like some deep space photograps I have seen but of course noway I could capture such a thing with my cellphone, when I stopped recording to try add some filter, it disappeared.

it is august 16th 2010. in sydney australia at 3.44am.... no fucking joke. i am seeing it right now.. ther are at least 50 of them, they are red yellow nd white..they are flashing..no its not stars....this is torilanto down in sydney west suburbs... im am so freaked out.. im googling it and i am finding similar stories....

I just witnessed something similar over Boise last night. What I saw was just a red spot of light that slowly pulsated and hovered for about twenty minutes. I know the feeling, WTF was that?
