After a bitter and turbulent few years in North British Labour leader Elmer Fudd's backyard of East Lothian, the gloves come off as union-sponsored parachutist Anne Moffat attacks local members and Iain Gray himself, while Harry Cairney - President of Prestonpans Labour Club and a member of the East Lothian Labour Party executive - hits back with some astonishing criticism of the incumbent Labour MP, including the implication that she has been telling porkies to the polis.

By Labour's own admission, Ms Moffat is unfit to serve the people of East Lothian as their MP. Time will tell if the electorate take heed.

  • Very well spoken Harry. I'm not a Labour supporter, but as an East Lothian constituent, I did agree with your viewpoint. I'm still disappointed though that you didn't get an East Lothian constituent to stand - she might have 'brought up her bairns' in Port Seton, but she's 'no yin o' oo'
