  • @mr1940s I agree, except that you think Obama is a great president.

He has done absolutely nothing great nor will he do anything that will make him great.

And being black does not count as making him a great president, he's just another man.

  • Fascinating history. What a time. Hopefully we don't go through it again.

  • This most disorienting part of this isn't that its 80 years old its that hes not talking to people like they're idiots.

  • We listened to this is in my American History class. We're studying the Great Depression, so yeah. But I have to say though, I'm getting rather tired of studying it, though. x__x

I mean, I know it was a horrible time, but it's just gotten boring and depressing about hearing about all the troubles people had back then. I'm ready to move on to WWII, the Holocaust.

  • Greatest president ever, no contest. NO CONTEST

  • For those of you who wish to hear the whole length of the audio clip, go to Wiki "New Deal" then scroll down to "First hundred days"

    The length is 13 : 06.

  • @edwardDLR Ok first of. Obama is a Lawyer so he is coming from a Lawyer back round of Compromise and such. and plus ANY THING! he does half people will hate him for cause he is undermining that half and if he doesn't do that. or something else he proceeds to be linked as not doing anything at all. He may not be a historically great president. BUT at least, he is TRYING to pull us out of a GIANT ASS HOLE that the president before and generation before put our generation in.

  • @GentlemanThunder7

Couldn't agree more...I find his words in these daunting times to be a comfort.

President Obama sadly blew his political capital on reforming healthcare, when he should've had his own fireside chats with the country explaining traunches, CDO's, CMBS loans and taken the country step by step through his plans to regulate these vile instruments.

  • Respond to this video... To all the members of Congress and Obama included, Listen to FDR and remember what he done for this country and this debt debate will end without catastrophic consequences to the people or it's economical future." We The People", Not !! "We the Corporate". God Bless and Help Our Country, They seem to have lost your word and what, "We The People" stand for and believe in. In God We Trust , Not Finite Self.

  • Respond to this video... Amen
