@R2Parmly Its (most likely) left wing actors, screenwriters, etc. doing a SATIRICAL take on banks. Foreclosures can only be profitable if someone puts 60% down on an asset, then walks away from loan of 40% of its value. When banks finance 85-100% of the purchase price of a house, then have to foreclose on such loans en mass, they lose their shirts.Banks go out of business because of bad loans, they dont do well because of them. The bankers here are referring to buying an already foreclosed asset

"Think of the foreclosures!"

The WTF look on the old guy's face at 1:59 always cracks me up.

Do the stuffy dance!

Back when people trusted the bank.

@chomsky88 what's more, it was written about what was, at the time, like 50 years in the past.. so it was nostalgia on top of that.

I love how Van Dyke couldn't do cockney to save his life, but his upperlcass banker accent was almost perfect.

Thanks, you can probably tell English was never my specialist subject at school!

@EyeHawk777 "Fidelity" is the act of being faithful or loyal, and "fiduciary" is a trustee or keeper. So a "Fidelity Fiduciary Bank" would be a bank of loyal trustees.
Dick Van Dyke was also both kids and Mary.

To this day I still can't believe the head of the bank is Dick Van Dyke
