Has anyone been able to figure out how to use the FRONT camera instead? If the screen could somehow be set to all white it would provide a nice light for dimmer rooms. Any app. for this?

Great setup! There is an app that allows you to use pointers, draw and stick labels over the video output of the iPad 2 while you use the device as a document camera. It's name is Board Cam and you can also record videos of your presentations.
