Great Job and great work. Only problem is mass production, and be sure not to sell to major auto producers, they'll just take that patent and throw it under a rock.

Hey, 2,853 comments so far, thats cool I guess. This Surge Technology terminology might not be the right words to describe this 2 parts looking video.
First part being a motor that once spun up generates power as it spins down and could be used to charge batteries until motor stops spinning. As previously commented inertia might be a better word to describe this. Maybe not.

I see this somewhat different than many past comments. A couple of my childs toy trucks kind of works like this conceptpush forward on the floor, lift off the floor, wheels spin. Put down

on the floor, lift off the floor, wheels spin. Put down on the floor without letting wheels stop spinning, pushing forward again and faster, then lifting and repeating until wheels are going really fast then let go and it will roll for quite a ways as what ever motor is in it winds down respectively.

So I think this type of motor in question might be a good idea as a temporary battery charger. He said so himself in the video just before he showcased his automatic trans. electric car.

Maybe we could spin this kind of motor up by hmmm, say every time we use the brakes to stop our vehicles? Could we not channel this wasted energy into this motor to get it spinning. Im sure someone has thought how to mechanically setup regenerative braking already but Maybe not quite like this spin up motor. I think there is still a good idea here though.

probably that car will make 30mph flatout.. no doubt if that it's true that a more refined and powerful "version" of this technology could do the job...
