Came across the same thing with my Fenix LD10, swabbed the basic contacts, but it continued to flicker occasionally, swabbed the threads, and it continued to flicker with one battery in some situations, and so I disassembled the tailcap and cleaned that. Seems to be OK now, but I guess time will tell.

I actually only have 3 levels of brightness now. havent heard back yet.

I just got my AA2 tactical. The moonlight mode had started to flicker like this. and now it doesn't even light up on moonlight mode. So I can still actually program in the moonlight mode which would be no light at all. I tried Rayovac NiHM hybrids. Ill be given them a call. I cleaned the contacts and threads as there was some black stuff. But that didn't help.

10 year warranty. Have them check it out and correct it. Easy peasy, squeezy.

Have checked the thread ? see if it get some dirt's, if so all you need is the threads with alcohol.
This light was fixed long ago. It just needed to have the threads cleaned.

I posted this so that the guys at 4Sevens could see what was going on. They suggested that I clean the threads and now it works like a charm. I can't believe I didn't try it at the beginning.
