Filmed around the streets of Liverpool and Everton. Showing West Derby Road, Queens Road, Margerate Street and many others, this beautiful documentry from Davlin Studio filmed in 1965, is set to the first track on the fist cd from Happy Little Three. Singer Tom can be seen as a six year old in the openning shots, playing with some other boys, in the rubble near his home.

  • You truly have given "Liverpool 1965" an extra lease of life with a new heart.

Your song and photo's have added so much feeling to it.

  • Thank you Dave. I couldn't have done anything without that film. I thank you again for sharing it, and for giving me the permission to make use of it. This was something I just had to do.

  • hi cresta

i was born in 15 gregson st

    did you know it?

    cheers

    eric

  • Hi Eric,

yes, the area of the old Gregsons well, and of course "Greggies" pub. I lived just a stonesthrow away in Hughes Street.

  • Nice song. Like it. Is this yours or a cover? I don't recognise 1965 Liverpool. It looks like another world.

  • Thank you. The song is original. Liverpool in '65 was another world, but also a great place to grow up. Life was hard, but scousers are the best people in the world. They have a knack of making the best of everything instead of moaning.
