He put that same guitar in my hands and let me sit in at Sparky J's in Newark! He was working there with Gloria Colemen on B-3/vocals. It was an experience to hear his soul speaking through that guitar! Yes we all owe Wes and the other great innovators but Jimmy has his own sound and approaches many times!
