That's what was so frustrating about this game and Captive. Even early on, it was a case of attack, run away, hide & sleep and possibly use a door to kill the enemy. Then you got into quest 2 in the case of Knightmare with no skills due to mass use of doors or spells and you were way out of your depth. The game was so well made though - it made you keep playing.
