I know, can't wait to replace it myself.
If dealership is going to charge $100, and the part costs $15 - $20, and it takes 5 mins to replace, that means they are charging over $1,000 per hour.
Example formula: $1,020.00 times .08 hours worked (5 mins) = $81.60.
haha man I sure hope that's Jesus Christ himself back in the shop replacing my cabin air filter!

Is the filter in the same place on the 2007 Nissan Sentra? The dealer wants $100 to replace it on my wife's car ... if it's this easy then I'm doing it myself.

@bsjohnson Yes, is uses the same filter and should be located in the same place.

Thank you for posting this. Dealer wanted $60 to do this. filter was 10.99 at parts store.

@ceballdan Although it's the same setup, for the Altima the housing is on the other side of the middle console. You'll have to take the glove box off to access it.
