A very great song written by Yoko Ono from the greatest album "Approximately Infinite Universe" in 1972.

"Approximately Infinite Universe" is a double album by Yoko Ono, released in early 1972. It represents a departure from the experimental avant garde rock of her first two albums towards a more conventional pop/rock sound, while also dabbling in feminist rock. It peaked at #193 in the United States.

"Kite Song" (by Ono):

I flew a kite
I held on tight to its string
Each time I go anywhere
I held on tight
In the middle of the night
I woke up in fright
Thinking maybe in my dream
I let go of my kite

When I was in a restaurant
Talking to my friends
Watching their mouths move faster and faster
I thought of the kite that was flying in the sky
And made sure that my hand was holding the string
That was a long time ago
Many skies went by since then
Now my hands stopped holding anything
And I've learnt to take a walk instead

Then one day in the evening light
I saw something strange shining bright
The sky was dark, with swarms of larks
And in the midst of it all, yes, it was my kite

How did the kite get there, Il'l never know
Floating away among the clouds to where nobody knows

I held my gun with both my hands
Slowly aiming at the shining dot
The shot went off, the dot blew off
Since then Ive never seen the kite again

  • AMAZING SONG

  • Yes, I love this song and the lyrics too. Yoko is the best rock woman in the world!!!

  • Smart man you are Mr. Fab. You used the OnoBox version, which sounds much better!

  • Yes, you right dear Landrew. The songs of A.I.U come from the Onobox. I wanted to put these versions because they are indeed of better qualities. I have an A.I.U original album but the quality is less good. I hope that continue you to like my vidéos.

    Cheer with you ^_^

  • How can you understand this? I sware she put John on drugs...

  • i hate and love it at the same time only can yoko can do that to me

  • this is pretty horrible

  • @3rdeye741 I think you opened the insults market yourself no? Every sentence of your first troll is insulting, & the homophobia in your second is hilariously inappropriate considering Brian Epstein, the man who made it all possible for the Beatles was gay, & Lennon fucked him.

Being the ignoramus you are, you won't have heard that Little Richard - musical genius & extremely gay, was a primary influence on the Beatles either.

There's some Ringo vids on another channel you might like.

  • @zivkovicable Well I am not Roman......... ASS CLOWN. Yoko was..is and shall forever be a NOBODY... such as yourself. Since we are in the market for insults. Go find a tape recorder and your boyfriend and record the sounds of you playing his skin flute.... mix it with Yokos bullshit music and sell it to the porn industry as back up mood music. Cant fucking stand self rightous douche bags like yourself that feel the need to insult other people opinions... fuck off... . DICK!!!!

  • @3rdeye741 You're such a fucking pleb. One of the drawbacks of popularity is that one gets artistic illiterates such as yourself commenting one's work. Yoko was already very well known in the art world before John met her, & he quite rightly always felt inferior as an artist ( artist in the wider sense).

If all that worries you is the ability to carry a nice tune that everyone can sing along to, Simon Cowell is your go to man.

  • ANY OF YOU GUYS SEARCH UP MARTIN CREED'S MUSIC YOU'LL KNOW SHE'S ACTUALLY GOOD

  • @misterfabdu93 Are you on drugs??

  • Oh my God it's horrible. The Rebecca Black of the 1970s. Painful.

  • 13 people have some taste in music.......... Yoko Ono was /is a disgrace to MUSIC PERIOD, absolutely no talet to be had and could not carry a tune in a bucket. She was a nobody and never would have amounted to anything without riding on the shirt tails of John. She destroyed the Beatles and destroyed the musician formerly known as John Lennon. Thanks for your total lack of contribition to the music world.
