To a gallery of more than 100 people Saturday, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), a native St. Louisian, asked, "What can the state, the city, the Mayor, the federal government do to fix this problem?"
The problem was more than 30 years of decay and disrepair in North City.
The reason behind it was on the mouths of everyone there -- The Team 4 Plan.
Hosted by Rep. Waters, Rep. William Lacy Clay (D-Mo.) and Rep. Al Green (D-TX), the Subcommittee on Housing and Community Opportunity held a field meeting at St. Louis City Hall where concerned citizens, community leaders and activists packed the hearing.
@TheSharperWon Clay doesn't do much for new jobs, he is too busy voting for welfare programs and new taxes.

Blacks keep on looking for paradise in America while their dreams could be realized in West and Southern Africa.

The original Team Four Plan is available to the public at the St. Louis History Museum on Skinker across from Forest Park. Anyone interested in this video should read it.

Glad Congressman Clay gave ear to, "What works & what doesn't work" We need development-yesterday. I had a guest come in ST. Louis from Atlanta & the word they used was DESOLATE. Powerful word. Thank God you did mention NORTHPARK, VERY VIABLE. We must have the HUMAN will, we have stop polarizing black vs white, north vs south, haves vs have nots. We must change mindsets VERY PARAMOUNT! Let's go to work? We need JOBS, conditions have to exist for people to bring jobs.
