Service Academy Selection Nominees 02-02-07

The 7th Congressional District of Pennsylvania Service Academy Selection Nominee/Reception held in Mellon Hall, VFMA&C on February 2, 2007. In attendance was Tony McGeorge, President, VFMA&C; Ted Hadley, Chairman, 7th Congressional District Selection Review Committee; and Congressman Joe Sestak, Pennsylvania 7th Congressional District. Thirty some students received nominations for the Class of 2011 at the U.S. Service Academy; U.S. Military Academy; U.S. Naval Academy; and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. The students were from such schools as Radnor, West Chester East, Monsignor Bonner, Garnet Valley, Penn Woods, Cardinal O'Hara, Upper Darby, VFMA, Episcopal Academy, St. Joseph's Prep., Malvern Prep., The Haverford School, Springfield, Bishop Shanahan, Country Day School at Sacred Heart. Closing remarks were given by LTC Gerard Tertychny, VFMA&C (ROTC); Ted Hadley, Chairman; and Congressman Joe Sestak.
