  • can u use a software to make different animations to add on to it or did i just now give you that idea?. p.s. how long will it take 4 the deluxe edition to come back in stock?

i could possibly build 1 with lasers if i can make an x-y galvo and a driver with computer connection

  • @jdog8853 I already have a version Wifi 2.4 gig with computer interraction. But I don't think that it will be released to the public... The wifi version have a connection to Facebook, meteo, hotmail, ect...

  • how many watts does this consume anyway?

  • @dogzer Aprox 22 watt.

  • is this still super expensive? I'll buy it when the price is 50 bux or less

  • @dogzer No. This is an hand made deluxe product. The price will remain High.

  • Does it play techno?

  • @KLpyro Hi.

It depend on your sensibility to noise. It make some noise, but if you can sleep with a computer running, it's ok. It's about the same noise.

  • I bought one from Canada (innovativedevice) - it lasted 4 months before the motor developed problems, getting hot and slowing down and eventually stopping - I could get it going again and set the RPS but the display kept cutting out at above 24RPS - anything slower and the flickering was annoying. Considering the price I thought it would last longer :(

  • @mast3rbug Probably a very niche market and wouldn't sell well on a mass scale... I'm one of those types that would absolutely *love* a clock which could connect to WiFi (the clock you describe). How much would a "pimped" out clock be, as it were? And would you be willing to make one for just a small handful of people (say, limited run of less than 10 clocks)? How much programming goes into this?

  • These are great conversation pieces. I have an old red/blue version. Unfortunately, they're not practical or cost effective. By that, I mean a cheap color LCD display showing a clock has better resolution, more flexibility, no noise, better colors, better reliability (no moving parts), etc. The display can either be a cheap $69 Android tablet, a digital photo frame or a $99 monitor hooked into a computer that is always on. All are more easily customized ... but this has the WOW factor.

  • What is the name of this song -- it's wild, love it!

  • @mast3rbug ok. #1) so someone can now put their clock on the wall and insted of going to their computer, pull out a remote and check out their facebook status... ok thats cool but i thing i would consider myself a little to lazy to do that, but thats just me.

but i was on the website and it says the advanced version is out of stock, do u know when or if, more will be in stock?
