@jflothe oh! Okay cool :) I remember Safeway & the Kenai River, i miss that little town so much. I plan on going to visit family and friends this end of May! :)) lol but thats funny you moved from alaska to florida, because i have always wanted to move to florida too, particularly to Orlando!

Soldotna is my home town. I left 4 years ago. When did they build this? & where is it located? I don't quite see this being a familiar area. lol

The park is about 2 yrs old and is accross the street from Safeway. The area is called Soldotna Park and is on the Kenai River. I grew up in Soldotna too, but left 17 years ago for Florida. I try to go home every summer.
