There was a concert held in Sept.1982,at Modern School New Delhi with these four Great Masters Ravi Shankar Ali Akbar Khan Allharakha and Zakir.The then French President Mitterand attended with PM Indira Gandhi for more than 2hours.I happened to be there and wow,it was my first encounter with Classical Music,What an Experience,I will be Grateful if anybody can UPLOAD that performance.R.K.Rohila

Masters of the forms in a dueling match! What this onstage fun and play must have been like for Shankar as the younger man! The fretless sarod is perfectly pitched and nuanced in Khan's hands, and his precision, style, and obvious enjoyment of this experience--truly a happening--is phenomenal. And the tabla so precise and daring them to perform through it all. Wow!

@maitreyeehffrsa well Mrs Sarcar, I have one cessette..( sadly just demised 2 weeks ago and made me cry) which got a rarest of rare concert took place in Carnagee Hall in NY, and it was played by Pndt Ravi shakkar, Ali Akbar and in table it was Zakir Hussain and Ustad Allah Rakha....and the raga was played Misra Peelu........if you by any chance heard of this..please let me know how to get that concert in net. I tried many places and I could not find it.

WOW! What a treat to see all three legends are performing together. Although recording quality is not so great, it is awesome and probably one of the greatest video clips ever recorded.
