thats cool my nephew new how to read at the age of 3 and half... He start off by reading street signs.. Even his Kindergarden teacher was amazed... I put him on the computer since he was 2 years old... and we bought him computer reading programs and it helped out a lot.

I actually starting teaching him Filipino first. Breaking down words by syllables. I used flashcards, wrote behind calendars as a blackboard and labeled items around the house.

@vivsalazar well.. i have not done the labeling yet, however this morning, i went to a website call STARFALL... and he loves it and is actually doing well, but i'm still going to do the labeling ASAP. i'm also trying to learn Tagalog myself.

If you haven't seen them yet, we have 2 videos about my son learning Tagalog. I had asked my parents from the Philippines to send us some books. I'll check out the Starfall website, thanks. BTW, how old is your son?
