My phone: Verizon XV6800-Winmo6.1, SPB Mobile Shell

I hated this phone for being too clunky and slow. After looking at other phones to replace it with, I decided to check out some mods and am really glad I did.
SPB Mobile Shell is a godsend for WinMo. Really easy navigation using the fingers.
I also have installed HTC Touch keyboards which eliminate the need to use a stylus.
Added some pretty basic WinMo apps like the Microsoft Reader and RSS App.
I also have wmTorrent installed if I ever feel the need to download a torrent on my phone (why? Just because, I guess).
I have Skyfire installed alongside the included mobile IE. I have the google mobile apps along with the youtube app, which all work great.

Ever since installing WinMo 6 on this phone and adding these tweaks, the phone has become more responsive, more intuitive, and less of a struggle to use.

I have this phone too and I hate how it lags and freezes, etc. Where did you get the keyboards?

Unfortunately I don't remember the website I got them from, but the keyboards were from an HTC Touch, if I remember correctly.

I got them off a developer blog. I'll do some searching and update if I find anything.

Like your upgrades, could you list the other apps you installed to acheive these functions. I am old and need the larger picts and finger touch screen. LOL

nice job man, im gonna buy a htc mogul in a few weeks because here in my country the CDMA network stills has a real good reception over the country. besides the price tag is lower for this phone. its like 150usd compared to newer phones that are like 400-500ish. all i want is to get internet everywhere. so ilike this one with spb mobile. is that a good overall phone? here the newer phones are too expensive. ie: htc hero is like 1200usd. thanks man
