Bad Ass Bronx Squirrel

As I was working on my blog, http://www.anthonytaurus.com, I heard this weird noise outside my window. I looked and saw that it was coming from a squirrel.

I figured it would run off eventually. But, it just stood there, making that noise. I made some noise of my own which usually sends them scattering but it wouldn't budge.

I forget that I live in the Bronx, NYC where everything is just that much tougher - animals and people. I went straight for the camera to catch this bad ass Bronx squirrel.

Notice those focused eyes and balled-up fists. That squirrel is ready to go at any minute. We Bronx folk have that 6th sense. We know when something's about to go down. I stopped looking through the camera to judge the distance from the branch to my window which is why I dropped a little bit. He was ready to come get me. I felt like the paparazzi in front of Kanye West.

They do this sometimes when they see predators and need to alert other squirrels

Yoooo NYC Squirrels be wildin. This squirrel was trying to live in my AC (from the outside) so I took a broom and knocked it's nest out not realizing it was in there, don't you know that thing came out and started growling at me? GROWLING fam!

oh NO!!! I Think he was choking and trying to give himself the heimlich maneuver. My kitten has been trying to eat my dogs eyes :(
