I am tearing down my Hennessy Hammock after a night of camping at the Chéticamp Campground in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

  • yes the rainfly (tarp) can be hooked to the trees and kept up while you are underneath putting the hammock away in its snake skins

  • Snakeskins too - nice! Enjoyed it - thanks!

  • @wawhiker Thanks!

  • That is either a non-Hennessy rainfly, or maybe the Deluxe rainfly, I've found that in very humid weather the Hennessy rainfly traps too much heat. The hammock is especially nice if you have to pack up in the rain. Teardown was very quick and easy.

  • @cuvtixo It is the deluxe tarp and seemed to work very well. thanks for watching!

  • I would love to camp there.

  • @larrylynn123 It is a very nice spot to camp. we are heading back up in June.

  • I finally got to see the man behind the pulled pork bbq. Does that hammock fit 2?

  • If it's raining, is there a way to take the hammock down but keep the tarp up as to prevent the hammock and it's contents from getting wet?

  • @dragonflyhiker I agree!

  • @cuvtixo Yes It is the deluxe rain fly, I have the same one and love it! Much better protection than the one that comes with the expedition.
