  • damn, I love Texas A&M Gig'em Ags and give 'em hell!!!

    Whoop!!!!

  • As someone who marched both DCI and Aggie Band, it's difficult to compare the two. In DCI, we had one main show created in a season, tweaking parts over the summer tour. FTAB marches a new drill every week, memorizes new music each week, and maintains 6 to 5, 30in. steps at 104 tempo. All that AND a full load of college (no band class) AND military training.

DCI is awesome, and I loved it. But I found the Aggie Band more challenging, especially pertaining to life in the Cadet Corps

  • The Fighting Aggie Band is the BEST !!! The Band is like poetry in motion !!!

  • Vote "Like". That was awesome!

  • Best in the entire world. Gig 'em, Ags!

  • I wear my A&M shirt to school with pride. I have even worn it in LSU stadium. I have almost gotten killed because of that, though. I am a very proud Aggie.

  • Whoop! Every time I go to my girlfriend's parent's house in Slidell, I wear my A&M shirts with pride.

  • I am a proud Texas Aggie fan in LSU country! Gig'em Aggies!

  • Very well put. Some people might not realize how hard the band actually works to put on its shows each week. Both DCI and FTAB are admirable, no doubt. I, however, am partial to those who form on the North End of Kyle Field and are Nationally Famous. ;)
