www.ProGuitarShop.com - Retro Sonic Compressor Pedal Version 2.

Retro-Sonic has replicated one of the most sought-after compressors around, the gray model Ross Compressor. Known for its smooth and natural sounding compression with sweet attack response, this pedal can put the finishing touches on your guitars tone. This newest Retro Sonic model is updated with a Bright/Dark switch for spanky funk or vintage smoothness. Upgrades from the original Ross include a versatile attack control, from ultra fast attack to a gradual swell, this pedal responds fantastically to any kind of picking style, making it a truly versatile effect. Chords will jump out at you and sound tight and focused, while single notes sustain forever! The Compressor can also add a clean boost, perfect for putting your amp into overdrive. Made from the finest components, the Retro Sonic compressor offers low noise and incredible transparency. And of course, True Bypass is standard as well as a beefy metal enclosure. If youve been seeking a professional compression pedal, look no further!

  • What is that the guitar part to at 4:26?

  • @delpimpo all

  • The ross types are my favorites cs3, keeley, Retro Sonic they're all good!

  • I've listened to all the compressors at PGS and this one sounds just like your description. Very natural retains the guitars voice and I don't hear any strange artifacts or squished quackers happening. I thought I liked the Diamond.

Some of the other compressor/sustainers are neato for sure though to like the Philosophers Tone Gold.

  • @melindagreenjeans I don't know.......... I havn't played through the RetroSonic, but I've played through the Keeley. It's not just a name. As of now it's the best I've tried.

This RetroSonic appears to be a killer too. How much is this one?

  • here is a silly question maybe , does the compressor pedal are only for a clean sound or it also works with and overdrive and distortion?

  • @pogoism1 If you want a Ross type why get the bi? half of it isn't what you want. The keeley 4 knob has an input level. You don't need that if you plan on using it with guitar as you don't need to adjust for line level signals. The Retro-Sonic has the bright/dark switch making it better than the Keeley. There is a point at which you are paying for the Keeley name alone, and that point is the Retro-Sonic. You can't build better than the best so don't pay for a name.

  • the best compressor is the maxon CP-101 or the tone press by barber. 3rd place is the diamond compressor. trust me on this one. ive had them all.

  • Downtown!
