TEH-R31 Review and Build. Trying to show a way of building a belt drive and brushless drift car for the budget minded. If you buy this chassis please buy the metal solid spool for the rear and either a solid spool also for the front or a metal 1 way. These have been the weak point of these chassis.

  • what about extra belts?

  • @mklmkmnknmknkn We have been running the heck out of the stock belts for about a year now and havent replaced any. I do have a extra set in my box just in case but these things are so strong it would probably take years to wear one out.

  • @GlockRunner Its set to 50/50. I havent ordered the CS pully set. You can go to racedriftjapan website and order the Streetjam OTA-R31 parts. They are the same thing.

  • @killersushi99 Awsome. Thanks!! I was looking for the solid rear axle and front one way from (Eagle racing) as you spoke about in this forum, but i couldnt find it.

I'm new to the CS ways.lol.. what is yours set to? love the way it slides around the corners on your testing session vid!! :)

  • @GlockRunner Those parts are universal in all 1/10 scale cars so yes they will fit.

  • @killersushi99. love the informative vid. i have an Excced driftstar from nitro rcx, with brushed motor and all electronics. will the motor/ esc/steering servo work for the TEH R-31. wanting to purchase one.

    thank you.

  • @GoodKaws Yeah you need some superglue to put the pullies together. They have a outer flange that has to be glued on. DONT USE TOO MUCH. It takes just a few dabs to hold the ring into place. Since it isnt under any kind of stress theres no need to go crazy. Getting glue on the outer surface of the pully where the belt runs. If you dont have a 2mm allen wrench driver go get one! You will be dying trying to use the little allen wrench to put this kit together.

  • Btw, when building this kit, did it come with everything you needed or were there extra parts or tools i need to go buy. I thought i read somewhere that i needed glue.

  • where did you buy the motor esc combo

  • @killersushi99 Thanks for the reply! I looked it up and they have it like u said but they are really expensive! I searched for a long time but the solid rear axles are almost sold out on every webshop..... but no worrys i will get 1 eventually. Did u use different gears for CS or just the stock one's because u drift it very well in the test video! Greetz
