Folding a dollar bill into a bow tie

I forgot to mention, any paper the same dimensions of a bill or in the same proportion will work.

It is tricky. Once you've completed all the folds turn the open end toward you. Put you middle fingers on both sides of the point facing away from you and slide your thumbs down into the center between the outside and the "bow" part inside. Pivot the bill open by pulling outward with your thumbs while holding tight with your fingers. Flatten the bow as you go.

Once you make the first fold, turn the bill so the open end is toward you. Lift the lower left corner of the top and carry it over to the right bottom corner. The end away from you will be rounded over. You need to fold it flat to get the triangle. Remember to just take the top half. Don't use the bottom half
