Unfortunately there is no method of resetting ink level reading for these cartridges. They will work but you have to watch them for any symptoms of running out of ink like missing lines or incorrect colours.

If it doesn't recognize the cartridge you need a new cartridge.

I bought two of these products for my canon pixma 250 & pixma ip1600, they all print well but the ink level doesn't recognize my newly refill ink. Even though I follow the whole instructions from the manual & I even talked to the technical supports of inktec but they can't do anything with the low ink level of my two canon printer. Now my printer always recognize my newly refill ink as low ink level...
