Try connecting it from the headphone jack to the stereo input on your hifi or pc. Probably sounds a bit rubbish because your connecting via the mono out. I'm using a set of adam a7 monitors, sounds pretty sweet.

Hey, I just have the left and right outputs conected to a mixing desk which is in turn connected to some external speakers. But basically if you have the outputs connected to speakers in some way it should sound good. How do you have this connected to the roland?
