  • It's a travel if you pick up your dribble before you land, which he does on most shots. Most officials will call this, like they will call travel on drives using a hop step (unless you're in the NBA, which no one here is)

  • I'm confused with this whole hopstep thing

This is what i know :

*If you dribble, jumps when dribble, pickup the ball in the air, landed on both feet, and then you can pass, shoot, or establish a pivot foot

*If you dribble, pickup the ball, take one step with one foot, then landed with booth feet, its a travell

*If you dribble, pickup the ball, take one step with right foot, and another step with left foot, or reversed, then its a legal move.

Thats what i know and what my coach told me.

  • Ppl call travels

  • When you drop, you should really drop. You are not supposed to jump to your shooting spot, you should move horizontaly, then drop and explode up. This way your shot will be in the air faster.

  • do you got any videos for small forwards or power forward? if not, can you make some? :)

  • your shot is funny :)

  • nice video, augie. love the beat! what is it called?

  • @squeezeNlemon you right. he travels. not on all of them tho. just the onside dribble ones. needs to get his footwork right on that one.

  • Looks very good, you have an excellent shot! I do that drill to!
