شهید دکتر چمران یکی از کسانی است که انقلاب مدیون خون اوست او کسی است که مسلمان است شیعه ی علی علیه السلام است. او با زندگی خود نشان داد که شیعه ی واقعی یعنی او و دیگران که راحت زندگی می کنند را شیعه ی علی علیه السلام ندان. چمران می گوید من نمی توانم بر خود بقبولانم که دیگران زیر رگبار گلوله زندگی کنند و من در راحتی. او می گفت: من می روم و در کنار رگبار گلوله ها می ایستم و از فاصله های دور نمی توانم شعار بدهم و فریاد هیهات من الذلة سر بدهم

He was a super-educated person. He had a PhD in plasma physics from USA and was working as a senior scientist for Jet Propulsion Laboratory and NASA, before revolution. After revolution, he came to Iran to help and became a close friend of Khomeini. He was made defense minister of Iran and died in action during Iran-Iraq war. I personally think he was too valuable to go to war and instead he should have been made to do research for Iranian defense industry and space applications. May he RIP!
