Building the coop for the Chickens (Part 12)

The chickens are coming soon. I have already built their coop at my parents house where they have better facilities for that kind of thing. This video is a time laps of when I got all the bits home and assembled them. It covers about 2 hours. At the end it is not completely finished. I have since added the metal mesh to keep the chickens in, but you get an idea of the structure.

It is a 2 level design which aims to maximise the ground floor space, giving the chickens the most grass to eat and walk on as possible by having the living area suspended above at a hight of about 60cm. you can find more details and a pic of the finished product on on my blog post about it.

I went to your blog... but your last one was in 07. What happened? BTW: I LOVED the first egg vid. Not only was it humorous, and brought back memories of my first egg... but it's the first time I've ever seen egg cups in use! So, you're telling me the whites get done, but the yolk is runny?!?! OMG I need them! (you know, eating boiled eggs on plates is either too slippery or just plain messy!)
