Each year in December, volunteers from The Rabbit Haven of Scotts Valley, California assemble and distribute holiday treat bags to rabbits in shelters in the San Francisco Bay Area. Sponsors and volunteers donate hay, healthy rabbit treats, hay rolls and toys for the enjoyment of the shelter bunnies. After the bags are assembled, teams of Haven volunteers deliver the treats bags, and spend some time with the rabbits who will have to spend the holidays in shelters.
