Be more visible as SUVs bear down on your Bugeye at stop lights! An excerpt from "So you are Thinking of Buying a Bugeye?" This DVD shows you how to buy a great Bugeye and make a practical daily driver.
I simply replaced all the exterior lights with LEDs. on my Midget MkIV. Turn and brake lights are 3w and 5w 'Luxeon', respectively. Brake lights will damn near blind you! Not unlike the SureFire LED flashlights, really. Total cost was a bit less than $200 (those 5w were $35 each!), and a half hour to replace all of them.
Heck of a lot easier on the Lucas alternator, too.
What a douchebag....

Bugeye, frogeye...neither. It's a Sprite MKI.
A nice upgrade as long as you don't modify the wiring harness at all.
