  • The guy at 1:30 is genius

  • octo is bullshiting

  • rdxm: It's a "can" and "abidcate" issue.

Gov'ts "can" and do "abdicate" power and consumers "can" and do "abdicate" power to the gov't.

We are part of the cycle (the most powerful) -- the Consumer is the Invidual and from Individuals come Corporate Leaders and Politicians.

    American Corporatist Revenue Stream: 1) Consumers-who-Purchase, 2) Consumers-who-Invest, and 3) Gov't Subsidization-Bailouts-Regulatory Advantages-Tax Breaks.

The "evil" is in abdication - we don't need gov't.

  • The great thing about American culture is you're free to leave whenever you wish. You pose as a champion of nature, and I agree there are issues to be addressed. But by lame actions like 'monkey wrenching', you & your ilk only make it easier to be branded as radical extremists.

Third world peoples? We do more for them than we could ever hope to see returned. When's the last time you heard of relief in any form was given TO America?

  • I'm not trying to force my view on anybody, I'm trying to get this culture to stop forcing its will on me, to stop forcing its destructive will on nature (which I need to survive--imagine that!), and to stop forcing its will on third world peoples, from whom "our resources" are violently stolen.

  • The majority isn't 'beyond reproach'; why should we bow to your minority views?

You're 'deep'? Humans didn't emerge from caves due to vegan efforts, but from hunters and those that learned to harness the value of things like coal & timber (that you're against using).

Your US Gov comment only reinforces my original observation: You're like commies. You're acting like a would be government to force your views on the rest of us. 'Its for our own good', and you know better than everyone else.

  • Right, and something having the support of the majority somehow makes it beyond reproach....WRONG.

And the United States government doesn't use force to further their goals? Give me a break. Your lack of critical, deep thinking makes me weep in fear for the fate of the human species.

  • veganstanger: anarchists do not want ...power..., that's communists.

Like communists: they want us to suspend our judgment in favor of THEIR's, and a SMALL MINORITY is willing to use force to further their goals.

The "animal rights movement" doesn't have popular support. If so, a simple boycott would hurt your 'evil corporations'. They don't work because you lack popular support. Thus you resort to crime and blame your victim. If you had REAL support, you wouldn't need these terror tactics

  • Just an idea.

  • And read my post on your other inane comment; anarchists do not want to seize state power for themselves, that's communists. they are very different. I suggest you, like, read about a subject before making such harsh judgments on it.
