2006 Mustang - Was a V6

We had a 2006 Mustang at our shop that the customer drove straight from the dealer back when new. There was only about 30 miles on this car. The whole drivetrain was ripped out. In its place a Ford Racing 460 550 horsepower crate motor, a 6speed manual trans - yes I said 6 speed, aluminum driveshaft, 9" rear end(don't know the ratio), and custom headers/ 3.5" x-pipe exhaust with cutouts. It has a dual quad intake and sounds nice. Sorry my camera doesn't get the full sound of it but damn. It will set off car alarms going down the street. We dyno'd it and has about 450 horsepower to the tires. It's a head turner at car shows. The customer wanted a old school motor in a new car.

It's a Ford Racing 460. Actually it's way more expensive than a GT, but the customer wanted it. Definitely a head turner when the hood is popped. As far as headers, they are custom made. We didn't have to do anything to the firewall. Just a custom K-member and it fit int there like it was made for it. We were nervous about it and was happy at the results.

Alright. I want to know. How much was this swap roughly?? Its become a serious thought since the stang was totalled. and going to rebuild it my way.
