Esperanza

Esperanza was brought to the Edmonton Humane Society in December 2010 after being found near Red Deer, Alberta, by the small rescue group "For the Love of Dogs". She was suffering from a badly broken back leg. She was found trying to survive, along with her litter of 5 puppies and... a kitten! @sallyjdawg Yes we have found a home that has agreed to watch Esperanza and Jacob, and they will foster the puppies as well until they are big enough to leave Mama and be adopted!

Hi @cattieprowley If all goes well, we will reunite the kitten with his family once he learns to eat kitten food. Drinking the dog’s milk had caused severe stomach problems for the little guy.

I'm so glad that there still are people who take care of poor animals. This got me teary eyed because if Esperanza lived in my country she wouldn't have been so lucky. :( I hope they all will get new home. :)
