I think you are right about that, black people a lot times seem more innovative in music, and I think history proves this point.

Music has no color, and neither does Johnny! I do find it interesting that the blues has a predominately white fanbase. African-Americans these days don't seem to care that much about it, preferring hip-hop and R&B...and those genres themselves are huge among young whites! It's like the blacks invent, and the whites adopt, styles of music. I'm not saying good or bad, just observing a pattern...

wooo fucking great!!!

this is "If I had Possession over Judgment Day" by Robert Johnson who has the first recording of this jig ..... Muddy Waters did another version called "Rollin and Tumblin" that was very similar .... but this one is definitely a Robert Johnson version

In an interview I had with B.B. King in Tampa a long time ago B.B. King told me he didn't resent Johnny Winter, but he did resent Capitol Records for making Winter their blues man. B.B. said that he and his guitar Lucile were the ones that paid their dues, Johnny hadn't lived the life like he had.

@chalino19 I have pity for you,if you believe what you have typed on this page,,truely,,what a shame,
This guy is so often overlooked as one of the blues greats. I know SRV was amazing, but JW was doin' it long before.
