Socialism Is Modern Slavery

American civil society is under siege by politicians who insist on "remaking" America as they ignore the Constitution. WE THE PEOPLE must stop and reverse their advances. Some think this "progressive" direction is good, but those who do are not Americans first. They are ideologues and claim America is a broken society that must be revamped to match their "vision". True, these people are American, but in name only.

Without a true understanding of our Constitution, and the individual freedom it describes for all, we are subject to a gov't system overtaking that which we should hold dear. It's real simple, through incremental shifts in gov't policy (entitlements) we have compromised our rights. We have allowed our federal gov't to grow beyond Constitutional limits. No longer are we self governed as it was intended, instead WE THE PEOPLE are answering to an ever growing gov't bureaucracy imposed by those we have elected to office. Now, a dangerous precedent has been set with numerous czars being appointed by the president. If we fail to understand this danger then we will be enveloped by it. Why is our constitution so important and why does the progressive movement disregard it? Simple, the Constitution is a barrier as long as we say it still applies. If we are somehow convinced, like many argue, that the Constitution is "outdated" or irrelevant then we are destined to relinquish our rights in what used to be a civil society.

When gov't has the power to control our heath care, we are at that point of NO RETURN, that is why the silent majority is finally standing up like never before to resist the oppressive chains of gov't. WE THE PEOPLE are justified by our rights to LIFE, LIBERTY and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS (property that we earn from the fruit of our OWN labor). Where else on earth is this available? Nowhere! And some say we should model after other nations that offer "free heath care". No! America is what it is because of the Constitution, why destroy the best system of freedom ever realized on earth? Progressives will argue that "social justice" and "fairness" are adequate reasons to "remake" America. I say to them, get out of MY country! They may be Americans, but in name only.

How stupid can Americans be? This Daniel Greenfield, who consistently tells them about their constitution and about their liberties and fuels hate against a welfare state, is no American himself. He is an Isaraeli, an agent of the right-wing ultras there who fear that American support for their country may decrease.

I would like to see what happens if that man spoke out openly against health care and funding families with fathers without a job in his own land.

@Jeansschwimmer Some Americans are dumb enough to entrust in a welfare state, which is why we are headed that way. Dependency on government is a pathetic existence. The losers are the ones who think they are being "cared for" by bureaucrats. Personal responsibility is not "right-wing", it's the basis for Liberty as declared by our founders.

Govt has no business mandating (under penalty) health care. Liberty means free choice, not forced compliance into this lousy govt product.

If no-one cares for people in need- are they then forced to starve to death in the name of liberty or are they entitled to rob and steal?

Be honest: healthcare by European standards would mean that white, decent middle class USA pays the bill for a black mammy with ten kids and does not want to- That is the reason

@Jeansschwimmer Govt does not truly care for people in need, it's incapable. Bureaucracies are incapable and their programs are unsustainable, just look at Europe crumbling because of it. If you want govt to fix anything then you are asking for bigger problems with a yet bigger govt. Govt run Heathcare is a boondoggle and you know it. It seems that "change" means bankrupting a nation for the sake of "change". Insane ideologies implemented by a statist.

US-Americans who now live under the poverty line is higher than 50 % congratulations!! Thousands of people have become homeless because of the finance crisis and collapsing real estate market- congratulations! @Jeansschwimmer No, thank the liberal elite...globally. However, the influence that caused the US housing bubble & financial crisis is rooted in the CRA, which was a progressive law. Liberal ideals in Europe that include unsustainable entitlements are far worse, especially Greece & Spain. Their demise was evident well before the US financial crisis. If Europe was on solid footing, it wouldn't collapse so rapidly. My point, Europe is also based on a ponzi scheme. Nice try, genius.
