It was bed time @ 9pm for us when we were kiddies but mum and dad let us listen to the theme tune before we went night nights lol.

@embojitsu : I take it you know that Roald Dahl who wrote "Tales Of The Unexpected" also wrote the screenplay for "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" and in doing so he added in the child catcher!!! Ian Fleming (of James Bond fame) wrote the original Chitty story.
