You all are going to think I'm a retard...but I swear to god...I actually had to do a double take once I realized they were singing and playing live. I can't belive how much things have changed since then! The state of modern music is so staged and lip synced and done to playback I literally almost forgot what it was like to see one of my favorite groups from childhood bring the REAL DEAL to the stage like artists USED to do when we were kids, lolol!!!!

Y'all really should try and post this whole video if it's still out there. Dr. Buzzard--aka Kid Creole, Darnell Browder, August Darnelle--is the quintessential original: a supremely talented musician (how rare is that??),singer, dancer, the consumate entertainer and precursor to Prince, Sly and the Stones, Earth W&F--all smokin' groups, mind you--but all indebted to the relatively obscurred Dr. Buzzard, a genius in the right place at the wrong time,as far as I'm concerned. His talent is missed.

Incredible blends of styles and it totally worked! So classy too. Plus the musicianship is incredible and the vocals......!!! So jazzy and enchanting.
