For this boat 6 hp maximum motor
for normal gliding with 8 hp motor is too short boat.
at full throttle, it just breaks away from the water

trim your motor up more and itll handle better and go quicker

killkord on the hand, it's about 20-30 meters from beach and there are people with a lifeline, maximum depth here 2 meters. But you right lifejacket is important.
