It wasnt 40 mph, i aswell have a 24 bayliner, that was about 17-18 knots at tops. you were barely planing.

Friend this is not a bayliner. This a brand new rinker 240 its built for waking and sking it tops at 63mph. Thats not grandpa's sunday boat

i fish brookville almost every weekend! i offten wounder why the tubers, skiiers, and wave runners like the mid lake area?? where most of the fishermen are fishing???
pleasure boaters "mostly buckeyes!" have no respect for a person sitting in 1 spot fishing!!!!! no manners and no common sence!!!! why not take it to the south end of the lake??? lots more open water and much safer!!!!!
or at least take a course on boating etiquette!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@tbroofer I can only count for that weekend, that's a Vacation spot for me. I fish there too and the best fishing for walleyes is in the boat buoy docks, mid-day trolling (dragging jigs on the bottom) through the boat lanes.
p.s. I wish I could fish brookville every week end., and now is the best time to take pics of the lake while its at winter pool level, that way you will know where all the holes are when summer pool is here.
