Why not using his own name instead of the 'yip, yip, yip'... or 'come'... like: "Barto" (wait for attention, even when the dog is far away from the mothership, he must stop all activity and look towards the boss), and when attention is established say: "Come" (dog will turn back to the mothership). I would feel a little embarassed to shout 'yip, yip, yip' on the streets. Using strong and clear normal language/words is better for most people and dogs, I think...
