Nice! I was looking at the Izzo Alex Duetto ii to purchase soon but maybe I should hold off. When will it be released and how much is it expected to cost?

Will SlayerEspresso be making a single grouphead machine for the home user?

How do you pull consistent shots with this machine?

Hi, how are you getting 19 grams into a ridged LM double basket? Are you weighing it out? If I try to cram 19 grams in mine, it's near 100% full. I thought that the LM naked comes with a 21 gram triple basket which would then make more sense. Thanks for clarifying.

@Flyguyjake We don't weigh each shot, but yes we do weigh shots. The basket is 27mm deep. Maybe you have a different basket?

Great shots! How many grams of coffee are you using for those shots?

Generally 19(ish) grams

Cool! Noticed when you tamp, your the top of the tamp does not go below the top lip of the basket.
Is this because you are just leveling the puck and not applying the typical 25 - 30 lbs of tamp pressure?
Lastly, what is the basket type and size? Also the average volume of your shots?
Thanks again for your help!

@sexyshie - we're typically pulling shots in a LM ridged double and dosing to 19 grams. Tamping is different for all baristas, but we're typically tamping to depth rather than to pressure. Shot volumes completely depend on the coffee, but I would guess between 1 - 1.5oz
