Pipe Organ splendour

I have been to Haarlem in North Holland many times, this time I called in the Grote Kerk (St Bavo's) and Jos van de Kooy was playing a recital of which this is just a quick sample.

I think Jos van der Kooy is teaching - or maybe just playing - at the Haarlem Summer Organ Academy starting about now. Olivier Latry is teaching the complete works of Messiaen on the philharmonic hall organ (Cavaille-Coll) and others are at the Bavo plus more churches.

Ik wil helemaal niet chauvinistisch zijn, maar, toch blijft dit orgel voor mij qua toon en uiterlijk een van de mooiste instrumenten ter wereld.
