Very beautiful song from XIIIc. by Conon de Bethune. You can hear the voice of Alexander Veljanov. This version is very, very well interpretated. Song from album "Crusaders in nomine domini".

  • What language is it? He has such a beautiful voice, but why can't he stick to singing in languages I understand? Next time I look, he'll have done something in Chinese, for all I know. And when was it recorded? It is nice, though.

  • It is an old french language. Language from XIIIc. He recorded a CD with Estampie. They sing together songs from crusades and medieval times. I don't know when they recorded the CD. Search it :)

  • @Ivsitiwdr @ IcewolfFenris Absolutely seconded. I love the sound and the feel of this song; I don't think I can describe what I get from it without sounding like a pretentious artsy f***er :P

  • Anyone have lyrics to this version, it's got me wanting to try singing it now!

  • Crusaders is an awesome album, i have the physical cd at home...Estampie is a side project of the german band Qntal, and Alexandro guested on this album which features music wrote around the time of the Crusades...

  • @Barhwald Very well. I did some research and this is what I found. Mr Veljanov worked on two CDs with Estampie: 1994 "Ludus Danielis" and 1996 "Crusaders ... in nomine domine". This song is apparently of the latter CD, where he actually sang more than this one song. I never listened to the others, as yet, though! :)

  • Gosh! Wtf, guys.... This song is SO awesome! O.O i can listen this forever! (sorry, bad english ^^")

  • this song is great

  • Amazing song...the voice is outstanding... I almost travell in time and land to the Outremer and beyond centuries dust...
