  • The tanker carries 8,000 gallons. They are quite prevalent in that area.

  • I was told to come watch this video, and I am very concerned. I understand you are a small company, but from the company I come from, our truck never leaves if the driver does not have the quailfications. Your driver should know how to pump the truck before they are even cleared to drive it. We also never leave with an under staffed truck, and if you are not able to pack up, you are not on first truck. I would be embrassed if this was my fire company to say the least.

  • @SuperLaw911 Don't break you arm, patting yourself on the back.

  • these guys are just like the guys from the neighboring volunteer fire department were i am from.... they suck. i mean really, no bunkers or SCBA's on or anything? many houses in our district and the other guys distric have been spared due to our great work and efforts.

  • F-

  • Wow! I can't believe nobody was killed. Nice equipment but it's a shame nobody knows how to use it. Not to mention no turnout gear, and terrible job keeping bystanders and firefighters away from the downed wires. Just because your in a rural area doesn't make it ok to not follow sops or basic essentials of firefighting. SMH!

  • A blitz fire or deck gun on that tanker might have helped. Would have been nice to see how much fire they could have handled before the engine arrived. That one handline made a decent dent in the fire.

  • @lowereastfire what most departments, especially volunteer, have to deal with low manpower during the daytime hours, and there are always going to be drivers that have difficulty pumping, especially if they haven't if they havent been to a fire in a while- sometimes as a vollie you get what you get

  • Now THATS a tanker!

  • @delfire50 how much do the trucks and engines typically carry? if at all?

  • Nice video!

  • @lowereastfire if you bother to watch the beginnig that truck seats two and both were pulling hose and getting the pump started and then were fighting the fire. these two guys did more than most big city depts. do like several vids i see in here waiting till they get 3 or 4 trucks on the scene to even charge a line. most small town/rural depts care more about saving their neighbors property and lives than satisfying some union requirement.
