Get your school involved in the hike4hunger School Award and be in to win $5,000 for your school. We believe in the importance of building awareness and empathy in our children for a better tomorrow. We would like to invite your school to join our international movement by organising a hike of your own, working to raise awareness and solidarity in the school community. Each school has the liberty to plan their hike however they choose, around a few guidelines provided by hike4hunger.
As a part of the hike4hunger initiative, you also have the option of raising funds to help alleviate hunger. hike4hunger presents your school with a unique opportunity to engage your students in this global movement to commemorate World Food Day, while educating them about world hunger and allowing them to make a difference.
As a community-led organisation drawing attention to World Food Day, we want to do everything we can to encourage your school to take part, and lead your own walk of solidarity. The walk itself is up to you - length, day, and destination. We provide you with a support pack to ensure we get your message of solidarity to the world for more information visit www.hike4hunger.org
