Racist Lady: "He's an Arab."
McCain: "no ma'am, he's a decent family man citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues and that's what this campaign is all about. he's not, thank you.
Me: so is mccain implying that an arab isn't any of these things? No better than the racist lady.

Firstly, how is being "Arab" a bad thing. Last time I checked, Arabs are multi-millionaire, Ferrari-driving pimps who are America's biggest benefactor.
Secondly, this woman needs to be institutionalized.

"He's not, he's not, he's a...um...he's an arab. He's not-"
(shakes head)
"No?"
She seemed honestly surprised that McCain did not agree that Obama's an arab.

Its just sad most of my fellow americans think like this. Instead of mccain saying arabs are not bad but obama is not an arab. The way he answered is implying that obama is a good man because he is not an arab, therefore diminishing arabs. I'm so dissapointed.
Jesus was Arab

@TheBookShark I don't think that he was really implying anything like that. He answered her question and THEN moved on to reassure her that Obama is a decent man and that her she need not mistrust him. I think that his answer to the Arab question ended with the "No Ma'am". A stupid assertion demands only the simplest answer. The rest was just him reassuring her and the rest of the ignorant folk in the crowd that Obama is a respectable citizen. Period.
